Announcement    Hello lovely customers! This is a busy time of year for me, so I thought it might be helpful to write out the Eight Commandments of DayGloDiva 😁. If you were sent here after reaching out via Etsy Convos or you just wandered in on the algorithmic winds, WELCOME!! All (respectful) humans, bodies, expressions, preferences, and persuasions are welcomed and celebrated here. Basically, if you love tie dye, you're in the right place 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

And now, without further ado.... (forgive the all-caps sections, but some information deserves to be highlighted ⚠️⚠️⚠️)

1) With all due respect, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ITEM DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING or MESSAGING ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING A SHIRT ❤️. I cannot stress this enough. So much useful information can be found in the detailed item description. You have to go looking for it (cough cough, Etsy Design Team), but each listing has a drop-down section titled "Description" that unlocks a more detailed explanation of your future favorite shirt including: size, pit to pit and length measurements in inches, fabric content, and whether it was a new or used shirt prior to my bleaching/cropping upgrades ;). If it's one of my "saved from the landfill" pieces (yes, I do mean used, lol), any blemishes that I notice will be fully disclosed and accurately described. I'm pretty picky about the types of shirts I utilize in my art, but it's still worth noting that not all of my re-creations start off brand-new.

2) IF YOU NEED YOUR SHIRT/S BY A SPECIFIC DATE - YOU MUST GET IN TOUCH WITH ME BEFORE PURCHASING. I am not a mind reader, the United States Post Office is wild, and Etsy shipping estimates are notoriously bad, so please, for the sanity of all involved, if you have a deadline, drop me a line PRIOR TO PURCHASE 🥰🥰🥰

3) I DO NOT PRINT MY OWN SHIRTS. I am not a print-on-demand shop. I source a wide variety of new and used, properly licensed, professionally screen-printed t-shirts and use them as points of departure for my hand-dyed creations. I AM NOT INVOLVED IN THE UNLICENSED PRINTING OR MANUFACTURING OF ANY NFL, NCAA, NBA, MLB, or NHL logo or product!! 100% of the shirts in this shop have been sourced from the secondary market - both in thrift stores and via a variety of online buying and (re)selling platforms. Even items that are advertised as new with tags prior to bleaching were bought from overstock websites, clearing houses and the like. I am 100% dedicated to recycling, reusing, and repurposing as a way of life.

4) Because I do not print my own shirts, I CANNOT ADD ANY PERSONALIZED WORDS, LOGOS, or IMAGES TO YOUR SHIRT. For my one-of-one shirts, what you see is what you get. For shirts that are part of one of my small, limited batches, I can sometimes customize length or the bleach design, but I cannot add, subtract, or customize any printed logos or names.

5) My shirts come in 3 types:

*** ONE-OF-ONE SHIRTS are just that - only one of them exists in the entire universe. Isn't that cool?!?! The majority of my one-of-one hand dyed shirts are sourced used and secondhand, but there are also a few one-offs that I've found NWT from overstock vendors online . Unfortunately, much like a cranky DJ, I cannot take requests to make identical copies of one-of-one designs. I can almost always make you something similar to what you may have seen in my customer reviews or product photos, but please understand that these are hand dyed items and I am not a machine 🥰.

*** SMALL BATCH, DYED-TO-ORDER shirts are ones that I've sourced from overstock sites online in limited numbers of select sizes. Because of how I source these shirts, a certain batch may only have one or two different sizes available, but I try to buy as wide a variety of sizes as I can when I'm sourcing online.

*** CUSTOM SHIRTS are what you and I create together. You purchase the custom listing, advise me of the size, team, tie dye style, and base color (dark colors only) of your choice and I then scour the internet, looking for the perfect canvas. As soon as I've found something exciting, I'll get in touch to discuss options and possibilities. These are my most time consuming shirts, as they involve personalized sourcing/shopping, a wait time for me to receive the "canvas" shirt, and then a fully personalized treatment of the shirt including the possibility of different bleaching designs, cropping, and sleeve lengths. Due to the time and detail involved with these shirts, there is a 2-3 week turnaround time on ALL custom orders. Please understand that this is the only type of shirt that I cannot rush ship, thank you.

6) All the tie dye in this shop has been hand dyed by me using a mixture of bleach and other chemicals. Please bear in mind that these shirts were made by using DISCHARGE DYING and/or REVERSE TIE DYE, which means that the design has been made by taking color away instead of adding it. I DO NOT ADD COLOR TO ANY OF MY SHIRTS. Because of this, I CANNOT CONTROL THE COLOR OUTCOMES OF ANY DYED TO ORDER CUSTOM SHIRT OR CHANGE THE COLOR OF ANY ONE-OF-ONE SHIRT, but please do get in touch if you have further questions regarding color palettes.

7) Unless otherwise noted, I use unisex/men's shirts to make most of my bleach tie dyed creations. Especially for crop tops, the look is meant to be cute, boxy, and oversized, even while (sometimes) showing a little skin. 8) I try to use clean, recycled packaging as much as possible because um, the planet. A package from me might (and probably will) come wrapped in secondhand, "single use" plastic mailing bags, clean used boxes and other recycled cardboard, clean used bubble wrap or other recycled packaging materials, and of course newspaper clippings, stickers, tags, buttons and any other cool vintage ephemera that I can get my greedy little paper-obsessed paws on. I wrap and decorate all shipments with what I have on hand at the moment, free of charge, and while I can't guarantee that your package will contain any particular type of design element or a clipping of any particular team, I CAN guarantee that it will look dope AF ;)
